DVB-T2 terrestrial antenna
Today's digital terrestrial TV uses the DVB-T2 standard. Good reception requires the right antenna for the area, correctly aligned, and a head-end with the right amplification: neither too little (weak signal) nor too much (saturation and pixelation).
Satellite dish
The dish must be aimed precisely at the satellite (in Italy typically Hotbird/Eutelsat at 13° East) and fitted with a suitable LNB. In buildings with several units we build multi-user SAT systems (single cable / dCSS) that deliver all the programmes to every apartment over a single cable, with no interference between receivers.
Signal distribution
From the head-end the signal is distributed to the outlets with splitters and tap-offs sized to keep the correct level at every TV point. A balanced system stops the last room receiving a signal that's too weak.
Instrument tuning
We use a field meter to check power, quality and MER of the signal at every outlet: so the tuning isn't done "by eye" but guaranteed by real numbers.
