What structured cabling is

Structured cabling is the infrastructure that carries data, telephony and signals to every point of a building in a tidy, standardised way (EN 50173 / ISO-IEC 11801 standards). It uses a central patching cabinet, backbones and horizontal cables to the outlets: adding a computer, a Wi-Fi access point or a phone becomes simple and never requires rebuilding the system.

Copper or fibre optics?

For local networks we use category 6 or 6A copper cable, which supports Gigabit and 10-Gigabit Ethernet over typical home and office distances. For backbones, building-to-building links or long runs we use fibre optics (single-mode or multi-mode), immune to electromagnetic interference and capable of very high speeds over long distances. We carry out fusion splicing, terminations and instrument certification of every link.

Terrestrial, satellite and cable TV systems

We install and fine-tune DVB-T2 antennas and satellite dishes, with head-ends, amplifiers and splitters sized to deliver the right signal level to every outlet. For apartment blocks and hospitality venues we build multi-user SAT systems (single cable / dCSS) and cable distribution systems, eliminating interference and signal drops.
